Dr. Fran Forsberg is a tireless advocate for human rights and was at the forefront of the landmark case that removed gender markers from birth certificates in the province. She is an advocate for trans and gender diverse youth and founder of Camp Caterpillar. Fran is the recipient of a Women of Distinction Award, Human RightsAward, Peter Corren Award, Barb Bayer award and was recently awarded the Queen Elizabeth Platinum medal for Sask. Fran is the legal mom to ten and has welcomed over 200 into her home over her 46 year career.
