Tansi, my name is Helen Thunderchild (she/her). I was born and raised by my mother on Treaty 6 territory. As a young girl our family moved around a lot, from Prince Albert to Saskatoon to Lloydminster SK. I enjoy camping and golfing in the summertime, playing poker with friends and DJing on the weekends. I have a beautiful 12 year old daughter who keeps me on my toes and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m shy when I meet people but I am very funny, laid back and kind hearted.

I love being part of our beautiful, flourishing 2SLGBTQ+ community! I don’t know what amazing person came up with this quote but it has always stuck with me: “In order for change to happen you need to be a part of that change.”
